Gwinyai Dziwa is a writer who has written regular columns in national newspapers in Zimbabwe. He first wrote a weekly column in the (Sunday Mail ), Zimbabwe's most popular weekly newspaper. The column, Melting Pot discussed economic and political issues. He later wrote a column in the (Financial Gazette ) another popular weekly newspaper. He also contributed numerous articles in other newspapers such as the Daily News, the Chronicle and Manica Post among others. His work has been cited in various print. He contributed to the book (Field Guide of Appropriate Technology ) edited by a Brown University professor. Gwinyai received his education at the University of Texas at Dallas. As an avid music journalist he has interviewed artistes such as Thomas Mapfumo, Grammy Award winner Damian Marley, Vusi Mahlasela, South African poet/singer among others and as a photojournalist he has captured pictures of artistes such as Chaka Khan, Lionel Richie and Toots Hibbert among others.
